  FRENCH  DEPARTMENT  
 

The ILI French Department started its operation in 1980. At first, general and basic audio/visual classes were offered in five levels. More courses were added gradually, and right now 18 levels ranging from beginning to advanced are taught in Tehran and cities such as Mashad, Esfahan, Tabriz, Shiraz, Karaj, and Ahvaz.

Courses for adult learners

The course method " Reflets " covering N1-N9 is taught. These levels will continue to N12.

At the end of NES3  and NIS3, special tests will be administered for qualified applicants.

 

  • The conversation course

This course is offered in three levels (C1, C2, C3), and depends on audio Cassettes which are exclusively used at the ILI French Department. 

  • The Module course

 This course is offered in three levels (M1, M2, M3), and presents lessons on twentieth Century French Literature (the novel). The course also includes instruction on speech giving.

  

Course schedules 

  • Regular courses

Two days-a-week (four hours) for two and a half months. Classes meet on: Saturday, Wednesday/ Sunday, Tuesday/ Monday, Thursday

Classes meet at: 8:00-9:45 A.M. /10:00-11:45 A.M./14:00-15:45/ /16:00-17:45/ 18:00-19:45 P. M. 
  • Intensive Courses

These courses are offered two-days-a weak (8 hours) from 8-12 A.M. or 14-18 P.M. or 16-20 P.M.

The learners can cover two intensive terms in the period of one regular term.
  • One �day-a week Courses

These courses are offered one � day- a week (4 hours) from 8-12 A.M. or 14-18 P.M. on Thursdays.

The Placement Test

Applicants with some knowledge of French can take the placement test.
