ILI Language Teaching Journal is published two times per year in spring and fall by the Research and Planning Department of the Iran Language Institute. It intends to keep its readership with emerging trends and important concepts in the field of language teaching. The journal publishes articles on diverse aspects of language teaching, the principles which underlie it, and the theories which may account for the practice of language teaching. The materials in the journal fall into three main sections. Theoretical Explorations is devoted to a wide range of issues, including aspects of language (syntax, discourse features, etc.) and aspects of L2 teaching, learning, and testing. Classroom Ideas deals with techniques in teaching and testing L2 skills. Technology and Language Teaching focuses on the role of technology in L2 teaching. The journal is a medium for informed discussion of L2 teaching principles and practice. Inquiries concerning subscription should be sent to the ILI at the address below.
