Iran Language Institute / Education / Languages for Specific Purposes

 The ILI LSP Department

Considering the ever-growing speed of life and the multiple issues people are dealing with, attending regular language classes, which often take a few years, may not be feasible. On the other hand, such people have very specific language needs in order to do their jobs. In response to such specific needs of language learners, the ILI has established a new department called Language for Specific Purposes (LSP). Based on careful needs analysis, the ILI’s LSP Department offers specific and semi-specific courses in various vocational as well as academic areas. The responsibilities of this department fall into two categories:

1.         Needs analysis, planning and running specific and semi-specific LSP classes for outside organizations and institutes.

It should be noted that planning and administering such courses depends upon the demands of outside organizations or individuals.

2.       Planning and administering LSP classes for ILI centers.
