The Italian language is the fourth most spoken language in the world. It is the language of art, music, and literature. It has also been a prominent language of cultural, civil, industrial, tourism, and academic ties between Iran and Italy for centuries. Cultural and civilizational affinities, and common religious and moral issues are of special importance in Iran.
The Italian department of the Iran Language Institute started its activities in September 2017 and while teaching Italian to adults at levels A1 to B2 in accordance with the framework of the common European reference (Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento) and is now licensed to hold international exams CELI from the University of Foreign Languages is Perugia and will soon hold its first exam.

Learning levels of the Italian language department are offered in 12 levels (in four introductory courses 1 and 2, intermediate and advanced):

The main textbook is Nuovo Progetto Italiano, which prepares the learner for the four skills required by the common European framework: listening, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking. In addition, textbooks such as Parlo italiano, Ci vuole orecchio, Espresso, I verbi italiani, Qui Italia and other resources are also made use of.
Normal
The duration of the course is 21 sessions and the duration of each session is 90 minutes. These meetings are held two days a week and last for two and a half months.

 

Special
All its features are similar to regular courses, except that two sessions a week are held on the same day and in a row.

While planning to expand classes to other cities, the Italian Department hopes to hold classes in Shiraz, Karaj, Gorgan, Sari, Mashhad, Rasht and Tabriz soon, and is now currently holding online classes in all cities of Iran.

The Iranian Language Center, as the most prestigious, oldest and largest foreign language teaching institute in Iran, has been operating in Tehran since 1304 under the name of the Iran-US Association, and its classes were often held in affiliated centers. Language education "was launched at the crossroads of the Republic in the 1330s
