The Deputy Ambassador of Spain to Iran observed the DELE exam process at the Iran Language Institute
Antonio Torres Dulce Ruiz, the Deputy Ambassador, Second in Command at the Embassy, and Head of Cultural Activities, visited the Iran Language Institute as the sole official representative of the DELE international Spanish language exam in the country to observe its administration.

According to the ILI's Public Relations and International Affairs, during this visit, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Ahmadi Moein, Deputy Director and Economic and Business Development Advisor at the ILI, discussed the complex's educational and cultural initiatives, the centennial celebration of the Iran Language Institute, a statistical overview of centers, students, teachers, and staff, details on students enrolled in Spanish language courses, and the instructional methods for both in-person and online learning.


The Deputy Ambassador of Spain expressed his astonishment at the century-long history, extensive geographical reach, and vast initiatives carried out by the Iran Language Institute. He also conveyed his pleasure regarding the considerable number of language learners studying Spanish there.
After the DELE exam, he also conversed with several language learners, expressing optimism about negotiating with the Cervantes Institute to secure scholarships for them.


During this meeting, Antonio Torres committed to supporting and collaborating on the organization of joint seminars for Spanish-speaking countries, offering Spanish language instructors for the ILI’s teachers, and delivering instruction in Spanish, especially in online courses.

The visit occurred on Saturday, May 24, at the Iran Language Institute headquarters. It was attended by Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Ahmadi Moein, the Deputy Director and Economic and Business Development Advisor; Dr. Peyman Vahabpour, the Director of Public Relations and International Affairs; Farzaneh Fathinejad, the Head of the Spanish Department; and Leila Majidi, the Director of Security at the ILI.
