The Director of the Iran Language Institute met and held talks with the Director General of the China Language Education and International Cooperation Center.
Dr. Mahdi Zolfaghari, Director of the ILI, met and talked with Yu Yunfeng, Director of the China Language Education and International Cooperation Center, Wang Huichang, Director of the Asian and African Affairs Department of CLEC, and Pang Shijin, Expert of the Asian and African Affairs Department of CLEC.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the ILI, in this meeting, Yu Yunfeng, while appreciating the active and influential role of the Iran Language Institute in the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference, expressed his readiness to develop future cooperations with this educational institute.
The Director of the ILI then made requests for sending native Chinese teachers to teach physical and also online classes at the Iran Language Institute.

 

Granting scholarships to teachers at the Iran Language Institute was one of the topics discussed at this meeting, which was agreed upon.
Another important issue raised in this meeting was the launch of an artificial intelligence platform, based on which it was agreed that joint measures would be taken by the ILI and CLEC in this area, the first step of which will be taken in the coming months, and teaching Chinese using artificial intelligence will be on the agenda of this institute.
Producing local content for Iranians interested in learning Chinese was also discussed in this meeting, and agreements were reached.
In the final part of the meeting, some points were raised regarding the quantitative development of language learners, Dr. Zolfaghari stated, “Despite the shortage of Chinese language teachers in Iran, the number of our graduates has been significant compared to other countries, but there is the capacity in the ILI to make serious and more extensive investments in the field of Chinese language education.”
At the end of this meeting, it was decided that one of the senior managers of CLEC would be responsible for following up on the programs to develop the agreements reached.
