The Iran Language Institute and the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents committed to develop the SAMPAD students' linguistic talents in a joint effort by using each other’s capacities.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the ILI, in a session attended by Dr. Mahdi Zolfaghari, Director of the Iran Language Institute, Dr. Farhad Fathinejad, Deputy of school planning and management of the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (also known as SAMPAD by its Persian acronym), and other experts, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two sides with the aim of developing and promoting foreign language education for SAMPAD students.
Referring to the previous successful experience of the same kind of MoUs between the ILI and some other schools, Dr. Zolfaghari said, “With signing of this MoU, a successful experience at the level of an educational group is now becoming a national collaboration for talented students across the country.”
He also said, “This MoU will pave the way for joint cooperation between the two organizations in the field of foreign language education and in implementing educational, cultural, and talent development programs, one of which will be holding the ‘National Foreign Language Workshop’ for high school students of SAMPAD across the country.”
The Director of the ILI emphasized that this educational support would be an opportunity to continue the path of growth and development of SAMPAD students' linguistic talents, and the ILI would try to turn the students’ success in the workshop into a continuous educational path for them.
In this regard, Dr. Fathinejad said, “The cooperation between SAMPAD and the ILI is not just the beginning of a joint educational program; rather, it is an effort to create a complete chain of education, from identifying and training talented students to supporting them in the field of foreign languages.”
In the end, he acknowledged that the ILI, by relying on its extensive educational experience and capacity, and SAMPAD, by utilizing the country's talented student community, are seeking to create a different and effective experience in teaching foreign languages in this joint cooperation.
