The Iran Language Institute and the School of International Relations Sign a Cooperation Agreement
The Iran Language Institute and the School of International Relations, belonging to Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have concluded an agreement of cooperation.

Before the conclusion of the agreement, the Iran Language Institute Public and International Relations Office reported, Dr. Muhammad Reza Dehshiri, the head of the School of International Relations, and Dr. Mehdi Zolfaghari, the director of the Iran Language Institute, discussed the common goals shared by the Iran Language Institute and the School of International Relations.

Expressing his satisfaction regarding the initiation of the application system for webinars at the Iran Language Institute, Dehshiri also hoped that the Iran Language Institute and the School of International Relations would be able to carry out joint research projects based on the needs of both organizations and shift their mutual educational and research capacities toward more practical fields. Apart from offering joint academic, research and educational courses, workshops and seminars, Dehshiri added, courses could also be designed and offered in specialized fields for the School of International Relations students’ internship.

 

 

Having pointed out the strides taken by the Iran Language Institute in educational and research fields, such as endeavors to take the Iran Language Institute to the international scale, opening branches in areas with high potential, offering LSP/ESP courses, Zolfaghari reiterated that in order to establish itself as a leading academic authority, the Iran Language Institute needs to hold annual conferences and specialized expos in language teaching, to make appropriate use of artificial intelligence and cyberspace, to offer specialized courses in order to expand the professional capabilities of the teaching staff, to expand the Iran Language Institute’s market share and publish textbooks and study aids produced by the Iran Language Institute, the leading institute in language courses, English as well as other languages, in Iran.

Also present at the meeting held at the head of the School of International Relations on Wednesday Dey 27, Dr. Mardaneh, academic cooperations manager, Mr. Seifinezhad, university cooperations manager from the School of International Relations and Dr. Ahmadi Mo’ein, advisor to the Iran Language Institute director in economic and commercial development, Dr. Soleymani, deputy director of research and education planning, Dr. Mirzaee, deputy director of education, and Reza Liaqi, deputy director in financial and administrative affairs from the Iran Language Institute expressed their views.
